What is an Apostille?

An Apostille is the authentication of a document for use outside of the United States. So, anytime someone plans on using a document in another country for any type of official use, the document must have an Apostille attached to it. 

What is Legalization?

Legalization also involves the authentication of a documents for use outside of the Untied States. However, legalization is required for documents that are not part of the Hague Convention. 

How long will it take for the documents to be processed?

For documents that need an Apostille, once we receive your documents, it can be processed in New York within 5 days. Same day service is also available at a higher cost. 


For documents that need to be legalized, it will depend on the Consulate or Embassy that the documents are taken to. Times vary (Approximately 14 days)


Note: Documents are not processed on weekends and holidays when state agencies are closed.
